Are located high up in the Andes Mountains, the “Rockies” of South America, in one of the more arid regions of Peru called Ica. They comprise of a number of rocks which very in size from a tennis ball to twice the size of a football.

They are made out of andesite, this is a very hard mineral that would be difficult to carve with primitive tools. These stones are also covered with a natural varnish created by bacteria over thousands of years. It is by scraping away this dark natural varnish to reveal the lighter mineral beneath that the etchings are made. Some examinations of the stones show that the grooves of the etchings also bear traces of additional varnish, indicating that they are very old. They contain pictures of primitive fish, ancient Indians using what can only be described as modern technology and dinosaurs. These images are all etched by hand. Although highly fascinating, the age of the rocks cannot be verified due to a lack of organic material, this tends to add to their mystery.

The Ica Stones first gained the attention of the scientific community, when a local physician called Dr. Javier Cabrera was given a small carved andesite rock as a birthday present from a poor native. On learning that the doctor was somewhat intrigued by the stone more and more locals began to bring him similar carved rocks, collected from a river bank close to the famous Nazca lines. Dr. Javier Cabrera was soon the proud owner of over 15,000 stones with many unusual scenes. The scenes certainly proved to be an anomaly with many scenes showing dinosaurs such as stegosaurus, apatosaurus and triceratops. There were humans riding on the backs of flying pterodactyls, men observing the heavens through what appeared to be telescopes, people performing open heart surgery and cesarean section births. They were even pictures of men hunting and killing dinosaurs. The reason that these images were so contentious was clear; modern man is thought only to have existed since around 2 million years ago, compared to the dinosaurs who became extinct around 60 million years ago. This meant that either dinosaurs where either existing alongside humans or the stones were nothing more than a hoax.

Edgar Cayce (March 18, 1877 – January 3, 1945) was an American psychic. He is said to have demonstrated an ability to channel answers to questions on subjects such as health or Atlantis, while in a self-induced trance.

Though Cayce considered himself a devout Christian and lived before the emergence of the New Age Movement, some believe he was the founder of the movement and had influence on its teachings.

Cayce became a celebrity toward the end of his life, and the publicity given to his prophecies has overshadowed what to him were usually considered the more important parts of his work, such as healing (the vast majority of his readings were given for people who were sick) and theology (Cayce was a lifelong, devout member of the Disciples of Christ). Skeptics challenge the statement that Cayce demonstrated psychic abilities, and conventional Christians also question his unorthodox answers on religious matters (such as reincarnation and Akashic records). He may have been the source for the idea that California would fall into the Pacific Ocean (though he never said exactly this).

Edgar Cayce’s Life Story – 00:29:30 min.

In late 1963, Jane Roberts and her husband, Robert Butts, experimented with a Ouijaboard as part of Roberts’ research for a book on extra-sensory perception.

According to Roberts and Butts, on December 2, 1963 they began to receive coherent messages from a male personality who eventually identified himself as Seth. Soon after, Roberts reported that she was hearing the messages in her head. She began to dictate the messages instead of using the Ouija board, and the board was eventually abandoned. For 21 years until Roberts’ death in 1984 (with a one-year hiatus due to her final illness), Roberts held regular sessions in which she went into a trance and purportedly spoke on behalf of Seth. Butts served as stenographer, taking the messages down in home-made shorthand, although some sessions were recorded. These messages, channeled from Seth through Roberts, consisting mostly of monologues on a wide variety of topics, are collectively known as the “Seth Material”.

The Material through 1969 was published in summary form in The Seth Material, which was written by Roberts using material from the channeling sessions. Beginning in January 1970, Roberts wrote books that she described as dictated by Seth. Roberts claimed no authorship of these books beyond her role as medium. This series of “Seth books” eventually totaled ten volumes, although the last two books appear to be incomplete due to Roberts’ illness. The list of titles includes Seth Speaks; The Nature of Personal Reality; The Nature of the Psyche, Its Human Expression; The Individual and the Nature of Mass Events; The Unknown Reality; and Dreams, Evolution and Value Fulfillment. Robert Butts contributed notes and comments to all the Seth books, and thus was a co-author on all of them.

According to Roberts, Seth described himself as an “energy personality essence no longer focused in physical reality” who was independent of Roberts’ subconscious, although Roberts herself expressed skepticism as to Seth’s origins, wondering if he was a part of her own personality.

While channeling Seth, Roberts’ demeanor was notably different from her’s usual demeanor, as reported by witnesses who included Butts, friends, acquaintances and students. Roberts, as Seth, was at times stern, jovial or professorial, and he frequently assumed a distinct accent which was not identifiable. Unlike the psychic Edgar Cayce, whose syntax when speaking in trance was antiquated and convoluted, Roberts’ syntax and sentence structures were modern and clear when speaking as Seth.

My name is Vicki. I have been transcribing these sessions since they began in April, 1995. He served with distinction in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. In 1965 he left his position as tenured professor in order to give himself more time for the UFO and paranormal research, and became a Boeing 727 pilot, eventually Captain, for a major airline until his death in 1984.

Don began the work of L/L Research solo in 1955 using age regression hypnosis to research reincarnation. It transmits about 120 gigabytes of information every week. That’s equal to about 3,600 feet of books on a shelf. By putting a telescope into space, astronomers can get views of distant objects without having to look through Earth’s thick and soupy atmosphere. From hundreds of miles above the clouds and weather, Hubble can provide pictures of unparallelled clarity and sharpness.
